About Me
I am a Dominican filmmaker dedicated to capturing the heart of human experience, exploring universal themes of connection and self-discovery through authentic, immersive storytelling. My cinematic vision lies in how human relationships – shaped by unspoken desires and insecurities – shape our actions, and ultimately, our happiness. I strive to connect with audiences on a deeper level by stripping away narrative artifice and focusing on raw emotional truth, working closely with actors to help bring these stories' characters to life.
As a director, I believe in creating genuine dynamics with actors that translate to compelling performances on screen. From guiding nuanced performances to making intuitive choices, my greatest joy is working closely with the talent that brings those characters to life. I am keen on crafting visually beautiful images that translate emotion, informed by work on international features like Old, where I served as 2nd Unit DP and main unit camera operator alongside talents such as Mike Gioulakis, as well as my architectural background, which helps me see space to help the storytelling process.
With global vision and local roots, I am a director who's excited to connect with production partners to bring unique stories to life, creating film projects that transcend any border.
